Both Delhi & Bangalore will be itching to get their revenge on Chennai & Kolkata in tonights IPL twenty20 games. Delhi lost their home game against Chennai while Bangalore lost the first home game against kolkata. Delhi has got their top three batsman in premium form while they’ve also got a deadly opening bowling attack in the form of McGrath and Asif. Both these bowlers have also got good support in Yomahesh and Rajat Bhatia, the local players who performed very well in most of the Delhi matches. A scintillating performance by Sohail Tanvir has put Rajasthan Royals right on the top of the points table.
Tanvirs 6/14 against the mighty Chennai SuperKings secured the Royals fifth consecutive win in the IPL 2008 tournament. Chennai captain MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first, Tanvir saw the back of both the Superkings openers in the very first over. Patel and Flemming were caught plumb in front of the wickets and were sent back to the pavilion without opening their account. In his second over he forced an edge from Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan and put his team on top. Tanvir came back for his second spell and got rid of Albie Morkel the very fist ball. His accuracy pace and bounce were had for the tail to negotiate and were eventually bowled out in over 19. Overall it was an performance and a record that could stay for long time.
